About us

Dr. Oris Elena (MD, PhD) graduated in 1999 as a general practitioner and in 2011 she obtained her doctorate at UGent, Belgium.

Since 2020, Dr. Oris started to specialize in research into sleep problems and in 2022 she founded the Diagnostic Sleeping Center (DSC) with a first branch in Zwijnaarde.

DSC is a unique and only sleep research center with expertise in ambulatory sleep research.

Sleeping problems turn out to be very frequent complaints in practice. It is very important to find the cause quickly. For this, a sleep study remains necessary.

Those who have to undergo a sleep study today are confronted with long waiting lists due to the great pressure on the sleep labs in hospitals.

DSC's main objective is to support physician specialists and general practitioners with an ambulatory sleep study. DSC is also accessible to patients who come to us on their own initiative.

From now on you can go to DSC as a patient for the sleep study.
